Easton
Easton is located a in Northampton County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. The Easton area consists of the city itself, and three of it's townships Forks, Palmer, and Williams and it's three boroughs Wilson, Glendon, and West Easton. In the 2000 census the population was numbered at 26,263. Northampton County is the county seat. Easton, along with Allentown and Bethlehem, make the three main cities of PA's Lehigh Valley. The Lehigh Valley is the state's third most populated metro area. Easton is located directly on the PA and NJ border with the Delaware river seperating the two states.They call Easton also the Twin Rivers area because the Delaware River and the Lehigh River join there. Easton is located directly across the Delaware River from Phillipsburg, New Jersey. Easton is located an equal distance from Philadelphia 60 miles and New York 70 miles, making it a popular area for commuters and business people to live. Conviently there is also an airport in the neighboring city of Allentown 10 miles away, called the Lehigh Valley International Airport.Links
